Detroit Lions linebacker Justin Durant apparently likes chicken as much as every other ignorant fool with no principles. Let’s hope he was joking, but Durant recently expressed his undying love for Chick fil a fried chicken, even stating that he would buy their food if the restaurant supported slavery.
Here is what he said on Twitter, first talking about the restaurant’s feelings on gay marriage:
Chick-Fil-A not even open on Sunday how people shocked that the owner feels that way?”
“So people not gon get the best chicken sammich and lemonade on the planet because of a personal belief? Word?”
Idk maybe it‘s just me but I could care less about what people choose to believe in as long as I’m good
Then, the pure ignorance showed its truest form when Durant was asked if he would support the company if they said that slavery were a good idea. His response?
“Chicken too tasty.”
You see, that’s why we need more athletes to go to school. This ignorance is getting out of hand.
