A mother in Utah is in hot water after being accused of exposing her daughter to a man that was more than twice her age. The mother told the daughter to take naked pictures of herself to send to the man to “keep him happy.”
Daniel Dean Divine, a family friend, was the man who received the pictures from the girl and her mother. He has been charged on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of enticing a minor over the Internet.
Divine allegedly bought the girl an iPhone and a camera so she could take the pictures for him. He had sent her shirtless pics of himself and posed with a teddy bear that he’d bought her for Valentine’s Day. The girl didn’t know how to work the phone, so she asked her mom to help her by taking the pics of her in the bathroom.
The girl’s mother been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony. Let’s hope that they also take away that iPhone.
