An eight year old Bronx student was arrested after slashing the neck of a nine year old student with a razor blade during a fight.
The fight took place at lunch time at P.S. 132 in the Morrisania section of the borough. The blade used in the fight was recovered from the playground area where the incident occurred.
School officials say the two boys were arguing when one pulled out a blade and slashed the other’s neck.
The boy accused in the slashing apparently told police that he brings the blade to school because some kids don’t like him.
One boy who attends the school said that even after the fight, he still feels safe.
“I feel safe and all that — for an 8-year-old to get slit, I don’t think that’s OK,” the boy said.
