Raymond Dolin, 39, is hitchhiking across America to document his country’s goodness in an upcoming book, “The Kindness of America.”
But on Saturday night, Dolin was allegedly shot by a random passerby on the side of a highway, according to reports. Me thinks a re-naming of his book is in order.
Dolin says he was waiting for a ride somewhere in Montana when a guy in a moroon pick up truck drove by and popped ‘im.
The hitchhiker was able to get the attention of another passing vehicle, KRTV reports,and is now recovering at a Glasgow hospital.
After a manhunt lasting about four hours, authorities tracked the maroon pickup about 100 miles east of Glasgow and arrested the driver, Charles Lloyd Danielson III, of Washington State.
I’m happy Dolin is doing fine, but he really needs to stay off strange roads and out of strange people’s cars.
