If you enjoy reading all those stories about former athletes going broke, you might want to think about this one. Deshawn Stevenson of the Brooklyn Nets has bought an ATM machine for his house. The ATM holds $20,000 and charges a super high fee for usage. He might have learned from watching how Russell Simmons pimps people with his Rush Card fees.
Stevenson tweeted a photo of himself lookin fly and standing next to his new addition. When he was asked why he’d put an ATM machine in his house, he said, ”I like doing things that aren’t normal and it’s cool to have.”
The machine ran Stevenson an easy $3,500. Assuming he doesn’t have too many baby mamas to feed, that might seem like an easy payment.

Not only do we now know why NBA players go broke, but we also know why they get robbed. You keep $20,000 in your house, you’re pretty much asking for trouble.
