Terrell Owens has hit a new low by being cut by the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, according to ESPNDallas.com. Owens was cited for having a poor work ethic. After making the Pro Bowl six times during his NFL career, Owens might be done for good.
At 38-years old, Owens has been hit with serious financial problems and is behind on child support.
Wrangler’s owner Jon Frankel issued a statement about the cut, stating that Owens ”could no longer be tolerated by the Wrangler organization.”
The relationship likely came to an end when Owens didn’t show up for a team appearance at a local children’s hospital. Frankel said that fans were starting to notice Owens’ lack of effort. Owens told the NFL that he was ready to come back last fall, but no one was interested. Owens then held a public workout that was televised by the NFL Network.
Good luck TO. You’re going to need it.
