The F.B.I. is on the hunt for a man who robbed seven Georgia banks in less than a year, without once brandishing a gun.
The bandit is wanted in connection with seven robberies dating from July 11, 2011 to May 7, 2012. The man’s modus operandi (M.O.) is waiting in line, usually while on his cell phone, and then handing the teller a note.
The man is described as being in his late 20′s to early 40′s, usually wearing a baseball cap, and has a gap in front teeth.
For the most recent robbery, the thief approached the teller at a SunTrust Bank on North Druid Hills Road in Decatur, Georgia and presented her with a demand note that threatened to shoot her if she didn’t hand over any money. He was observed fleeing in 1990′s model Buick or Oldsmobile with Georgia license plates.
