Yes, it seems that Mr. Obnoxious is quickly becoming the go to man for people that have been taken advantage of by those who think more highly of themselves than they should.
The latest person to have allegedly done just that is noted author JL King. Mr. King, if you recall, is best known as “Mr. DL,” the man who help give the phrase “On The Down Low” a whole new meaning. It was also the title of his book that came into our consciousness when he appeared on “Oprah” to those who participated in the behavior of men having sex with other men.
King, according to Obnoxious, is known for taking advantage of young willing authors who feel that if they pay him to self publish their book they’ll become overnight an success. And that allegedly is what happened to Samuel Holloway, who is an author anxious to tell his story. Convinced to pay JL $2,000 to self publish his book, he got very little in return except King’s alleged demands for unprotected sex. Ewwww!
