Kids, please don’t try this at home. Two girls in China killed themselves this week, believing that they could go back in time by doing so. The China Daily is reporting that the cases have refocused national attention on time travel shows, which were once banned in China.
Both girls were fifth graders in the Fujin Province, which is in east China. The girls drown themselves in a pool and left a suicide note indicating that they were trying to become time travelers after their deaths. One of the girls said that she hoped to go back to the Qing Dynasty and the other said she would visit outer space. The second girl also mentioned that she was worried about having to tell her parents that she lost the remote control to the family garage.
That was pretty deep!! I hope no other children trys this.At that young age they don’t know how to seperate fact from fiction. There’s no proof of a person dying and coming back to say they traveled through time.
