“I almost had an asthma attack” said Alex Rodriguez, an unemployed doorman who received a 44 million dollar bill in the mail after receiving outpatient care for pneumonia.
Apparently, the extraordinarily high bill was the result of a mistake made by the billing firm PHY Services. The firm has since been overwhelmed with calls from other customers complaining of incorrect bills.
