Your Black News reports:
Veteran Chicago sergeant Darwin Butler arrived at another bloody crime scene, began going through his usual drill of securing the premises and checking vitals of the murder victim.
Only to find out—this time—it was his step-son.
Darius Parish, 20, was dead behind the wheel, having been shot in the shoulder. Another passenger was shot in the arm, and three others, including a 10 month-old were uninjured.
Officer Butler had raised Darius since he was 8-years-old and watched the young man grow into a successful college student.
