Well, I guess you can’t have it your way at Burger King all the time.
Shawn Porter, 32, was going through the drive-thru at a BK in Deltona, Florida, when he allegedly got the brilliant idea to place an order for a “blunt and some herbs.” Apparently, recreational drug use isn’t taken lightly in the drive-thru, because the cashier, recognizing the smell of marijuana drifting from the car, wrote down the car’s license plate, then a “supervisor called 911,” reports the Huffington Post.
Porter didn’t realize that a surprise visitor would be awaiting him when he got home.
After locating Porter’s house by running the tag number, a Volusia County Sheriff’s deputy greeted him when he arrived home from Burger King, subsequently finding 28 grams of marijuana in the car.
Porter was being held on $1,000 bond.
