What The Ha-Yell.com reports:
There are bad parents… then there are BAD parents.
Edwin Perocier, Jr., was only 13-month-old when died Friday morning. His parents apparently thought it was a good idea to give him a bottle of prescription drugs to use as a rattle. He swallowed the pills inside.
Unconscious and unresponsive, Edwin was rushed to Lincoln Hospital about 8 a.m., and he died there soon after.
He had been given the bottle the night before, and only when his mother checked on him the following morning did she realize that he was unconscious.
According to police sources, the boy had been wheezing the day before his death, and they are awaiting an autopsy to determine exact cause of death.
Edwin’s parents are being questioned by detectives.
