Not that we’re trying to judge, but for anyone thinking about trying their hand at robbing convenience stores, make sure you stake out your spot before you do the job. A man in Georgia apparently didn’t pay attention in Robbery 101 Class after he was busted trying to rob a store with a police officer standing right behind him.
The whole thing was caught on surveillance. Below is a transcript of the conversation between the cashier and the robber, Stephen Daniel:
Daniel: “Yo. Give me all the money in the (expletive) register. Right now! Give me all the money in the (expletive) register.
Cashier: “Why?”
Daniel: “Because I said so.”
The manager gathered the cash while other customers paid for their goods. LT Stephen Brown was standing right behind Daniel the entire time.
“I know what was going on, but he’s not dumb enough to do this with me standing right behind him,” Brown said.
Even more hilarious was the fact that the store clerk was smiling the entire time he gave the crook the money.
“The manager was laughing at the time he was putting the money in the bag because he was looking at me over the guy who was robbing him,” said Brown.
Actually, the silly crook provided comic relief for everyone in the store, all of whom started laughing as they watched the officer grab the crook the shoulders and place him under arrest.
“In 34 years, I have never had one happen the way this one did,” Brown added.
Hank Williams Jr. is just as the others in this nation, lacking of tolerance and the first to yell the “race card” when that’s the only deck they throw on the table.
