Just when you thought the drama with Bishop Eddie Long was over, you hear something like this. It is being reported that Bishop Long is seeking to recoup a big chunk of his settlement money from the young men who accused him of sexual coercion. Long’s attorneys have informed Jamal Parris, Spencer LeGrande and Centino Kemp that they have violated the terms of the confidentiality agreement they made with Long a few months ago. As a result, Pastor Long and his attorneys are trying to get their money back, feeling that they did not get a return on their secrecy investment.
Long and his lawyers are trying to get back at least $900,000 that has already been paid to the men, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The men accused Long of using his influence, money and power to coerce the boys into engaging in sexual activities with him over a period of time. Although Long promised that the truth would be revealed, the case was settled behind closed doors.
Kemp has announced that he is writing a book about his experience with Long. He describes the book as a story of ”love, lust, power, extravagant living and travel, betrayal, deceit, rape, down-low homosexual lifestyle, molestation, church corruption, secret societies, suicide attempts and religion.”
Jamal Parris says that speaking out on the matter is therapeutic for them.
“I don’t care if this book sells one copy. But if it’s just for me, this is what my life looked like, this is my voice for the first time,” Parris told WSB-TV.
While Long continues to deny the allegations, membership in the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church has been buzzing for months over whether their anti-gay pastor might be a homosexual himself. The case appears to be far from over.
Bishop should just leave those kids alone. You owe them that money even if they did expose his lying-hurtful ass. He needs to feel the hurt that he bestowed unto these young men and his wife needs to know his dirty deeds if she didn’t already know and was staying showing face because of the money. I have not looked that the Settlement agreement that these young men signed, as that along with the agreement itself is deemed private. Although this entire scenario is suspect and unfortunate, no one really knows what happened. And these young men have to take responsibility and accountability for their own behavior. They did not have to settle. No one can force a settlement, they could have taken the case to court and allowed a jury to decide the Bishop’s fate. They chose to settle, take the very large pot of settlement money and in doing so, in order to take the money – they agreed to the terms- silence.
The young men cannot have it both ways. Break the agreement, give up the cash. I’m sure they were advised this by their attorney, and by Bishop Long’s attorney’s when they signed on the dotted line. If they breach the agreed upon terms, the agreement goes out the door right along with the money. So without further information, if indeed they did break their silence and thereby the agreement, it appears on its face that these young men need to write a check.

I am not a follower, nor a supporter of Bishop Long. Not before this scandal, and certainly not after. However whether one is an advocate for- or one who wishes that he’ll burn in Hell — the reality is, the plantiff’s in this mess had the option of turning down any and ALL monetary settlements in exchange for having their day in court. Choosing to do so would have afforded them the freedom to go forth and speak, write, and or sing about their alleged experiances with Bishop Long- to anyone who’d listen/read. They however elected to not only accept very large sums of money as a settlement in their case(s) against Long- they also agreed to the terms of non-disclosure. With being said- Long has every right, and imo, he should sue them on grounds of breach of contract. As for Bishop Eddie Long and the sins that he has committed against man, and most importantly God — he like US ALL, will have our ultimate day of Judgement. I am, like many, a person who believes that God in His infinite love for His children, sent His only begotten Son to die in our place in order that we would be redeemed back to Him. I also understand that their need’s to be a voice out in this lost world to feed His children the gospel. I have refrained from preaching His word because I presently struggle with masturbation. In my heart I feel it would hypocritical to do so. And the penaltie’s for this, I shudder to think what they may be. Hell is a very real place. How could their minds have ever been graced and open when they were coming here in droves while knowing that they were entering illegally obtained lands where murdering the natives and kidnapping and enslavement of Africans was the order of the day? And now here we are hoping we can train our children to hold jobs that continue to serve the Anglo-elite’s purpose of ‘Manifest Destiny’.

People, and even family members use to question me as to why would I go out to the my daughter’s bus stop with her even when she was a teenager.
She caught the bus at 7:20 in the morning and very often in the winter its still dark outside at that time. I guess she was even a little embarassed about me going to the bus stop at 7:20 AM, but one incident occurred that made her realize that “Father really KNOW’s Best.”

Sorry – but as a lawyer, every settlement agreement has a confidentiality clause. Violation of the agreement can break the whole deal. For example, if Long talked about things he knew about them (secrets) or failed to pay them, they could sue, write books, etc. If they fail to keep their deal, he can refuse to pay. It’s basic contract law.

While I don’t condone any of the Eddie Long drama, as it pertains to the young men who accused him of molesting them; however, if an agreement was made to settle, that included a silence clause, on the part of the plaintiffs; and, the plaintiffs broke their silence-then, by law, they ought to return some of the settlement money. Just as Eddie Long had no right to molest them; they also had no right to agree to a settlement-if they had no intention to uphold what they agreed to.
I do not think the whole truth has come out. I will not pass judgement until I read or see what happened from the media.

The 4 wall church is the natural church made up of wood and stone, where so called holier then thou religeous minded, brainwashed individuals show up every sunday religously because they believe that place will get them into the kingdom of God, that and their clothes money and shoes if you can understand where I’m coming from. I’m not speaking against all churches, but most of them I am, and I haven’t seen one lately that I would visit or send a sinner or a sick person to. They all have fallen short, and God is exposing them right now. The church can only give man his foundation in the word /bible, but it is only God who can give each and everyone of us as an individual his increase in his true knowledge and wisdom. It has to be a desire in your heart, because you cannot fool God. That’s where the people of God are losing the battle today. The true church of God is in the hearts of man, not in the natural. God said in his word: Those who worship me (WILL) worship me in (SPIRIT) and in (TRUTH), God’s word said nothing about the flesh except that it was corrupt. We/ African Americans are the decsendents of Abraham / parts of the lost tribes of the jews, a very powerful people chosen by God before the foundation of this earth was ever created. We are the true church, not the buildings, which shall perish one day leaving no stone on top of another. African Americans are asleep, but its time for us to wake-up to our true identity, time is running out. I have too much to share with you, and this board is not the place. I fellowship in the presence of God’s true peculiar people. People who walk in the gifts of the spirit like myself.
